NEW YORK, Dec. 31, 2025 /AC Press/ -- Margaret Jingzhu Yang is the founder of AmeriChina Group, headquartered in New York. She is also the co-founder and board member of the Los Angeles Chinese Film Festival.

Margaret earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Wuhan University and a Master’s degree of Arts and Sciences from Columbia University.

In 2014, Margaret founded AmeriChina Group, a company specializing in high-end international cultural, entertainment, and fashion industries, providing services in public relations, market promotion, and celebrity management. The company’s notable projects include collaborations with New York Fashion Week, Cannes Film Festival, Grammy Awards, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, President Obama’s meet & greet, the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting, and Hollywood Stars Night, among others.

In 2017, AmeriChina Film was established under the AmeriChina Group. The company produced the short film Marina, directed by emerging filmmaker Chen Jianying, which was shortlisted for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. It went on to win the Best Short Film Award at the 2018 New York City Independent Film Festival and the Best International Short Film Award at the 2018 Norwegian International Film Festival.

That same year, Margaret co-founded the Los Angeles Chinese Film Festival (LACFF) alongside elite members of the Los Angeles film industry. The festival has gained recognition for supporting young Chinese filmmakers, with Margaret serving as a board member of the festival.

In 2021, Margaret served as a co-producer for the first season of the variety show Meet the Best: Space Season. Co-produced by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and Phoenix Culture, the program featured top industry experts and talented young actors. It premiered as a flagship variety show on Bilibili and Mango TV platforms in 2022.

In 2025, as a co-producer, Margaret invested in the Sino-French co-production film My Father’s Son. The film was directed by Chinese youth filmmaker Sheng Qiu and claimed the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award at the Golden Goblet Awards of the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival.

• 2017: Recognized as one of the "30 Under 30 Outstanding Entrepreneurs" by All America Chinese Youth Federation.

• 2018: Named one of the "Most Influential Women of 2018" by Yema Financial.

• 2019: Honored as one of the "Emerging Figures in China’s Economy in 2019" by China Business Herald.

• 2022: Listed among the "Top 10 Outstanding Chinese Youth in America" by All America Chinese Youth Federation.
